I've been keeping my eye open for some news about this event, coming the first Saturday in May. Here's a good article from the Honolulu Advertiser by Caroline E. Toth ....Free Comic Book Day is coming. And, if you are lucky enough to live in Hawaii, then you have the coolest library; 6 libraries are participating in Free Comic Book Day, giving away Archie, Transformers and Peanuts comics. This is way, way cool of these librarians, and the Hawaii public library system, to actually support comics!
May 5 is also Cartoonist Day.
